Listybox Workflow

Content creation in Listybox consists of 4 main steps:

Product → Artwork → Creation → Listing

Product: The POD (print-on-demand) product you'll sell (t-shirt, mug, poster, etc.)
Artwork: The design file to be applied to the product
Creation: Product + Artwork combination, mockup images
Listing: The sales listing to be published on Etsy (title, description, tags)

⚠️ Important: Listybox is designed for POD products only. It is not suitable for your own manufactured products (jewelry, handmade items, etc.).

Before You Begin

✅ You must have a Listybox account (email or Google sign-in)
✅ Your Etsy shop must be open and active
✅ You have two options for designs:

- Your own design: PNG, JPG, or SVG file - Ready-made designs: 100,000+ content from Artwork Gallery or trending designs from Trend Compass

Step 1: Connect Your Etsy Shop (2 minutes)

The first thing you need to do is connect your Etsy shop to Listybox.

Go to Stores in the left menu
Click the Connect Store button
Select Etsy
You'll be redirected to the Etsy login page
Log in with your Etsy account and approve permissions
After successful connection, your shop will appear in the list

Store Settings (After Connection)

After connecting your store, set up your pricing settings:

Setting	Description	Recommended
Target Profit Margin	Profit rate you want to earn from each sale	20%
Marketplace Commission	Etsy commission + currency conversion (USD→TRY for TR stores)	15%
Permanent Discount Rate	Optional - To show discounted prices to customers	50% (optional)

💡 Automatic Pricing: Each variant's sale price is automatically calculated based on these margins. Production cost + profit margin + commissions = sale price

💡 Per-Variation Profit Margin: You can set different profit margins for each variation by going into listing details.

💡 Note: Only listings created through Listybox will appear in Listybox. Your existing Etsy listings are not imported.

Step 2: Select Your First Product (1 minute)

Go to Products in the left menu
Click on Product Catalog
Browse categories (T-Shirts, Mugs, Posters, etc.)
Select the product you want to sell
Click Add to My Products

💡 Catalog Discounts: Prices in the catalog are calculated based on your active package and show the final production + shipping cost.

💡 Tip: You can select multiple products and work with multi-variant products. Creation Wizard supports bulk operations.

Step 3: Select or Upload Your Design (1 minute)

Option A: Use Ready-Made Designs (Recommended)

Go to Artwork Gallery in the left menu
Search among 100,000+ designs
Reserve the design you like → Automatically added to My Artworks
Or discover current trends from Trend Compass

Option B: Upload Your Own Design

Go to My Artworks in the left menu
Click Upload Artwork
Drag and drop or select your design file
Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG
Recommended resolution: At least 300 DPI

Additional Editing Options (in My Artworks)

You can edit designs added through either method in My Artworks:

Background Removal: One-click transparent background
Edit in Canva: Customize the design with Canva integration

💡 Tip: Designs in Artwork Gallery are ready-to-use and commercially licensed. When you reserve them, they go to My Artworks where you can edit as needed.

Step 4: Combine with Creation Wizard (3 minutes)

In this step, you'll combine the product and design to create your mockup images.

Go to Creation Wizard in the left menu
Select your product from the left panel
Select your artwork from the right panel
Position your design on the front with Placement Editor:

- Resize - Rotate - Align

Click Render
Your mockup images will be generated

💡 Note: Currently all designs are placed on the front. Additional placement options (back, left chest, etc.) will be added soon.

💡 Tip: Rendering consumes 1 credit.

Step 5: Create Your Listing (3 minutes)

Now it's time to create the listing information for Etsy.

After creation is complete, click Create Listing
Use Magic Wand to auto-generate content for your Listybox listing:

- Title (optimized up to 13 keywords) - Description (SEO-friendly, detailed) - 13 tags - Multiple images (generate independent images in one go) - Video (Professional package and above - can be sent to Etsy)

Review and edit the content if needed
Set price and other details
Click Push to Etsy

Publishing Options

Option	Description
Publish Now	Listing goes live on Etsy immediately
Send as Draft	Sent to Etsy as draft, you can do final review there
Scheduled Publish	Automatically published at specific date/time

💡 Tip: Magic Wand uses 5 credits, Listing creation uses 2 credits. Draft publishing uses the same credits.

Your First Listing is Live! 🎉

Congratulations! You've successfully created your first listing. To view it on Etsy:

Go to My Listings
Click the View on Etsy link next to your listing

How many credits did I spend on my first listing?

Typical credits spent for a first listing:

Artwork upload: 1 credit
Render: 1 credit
Magic Wand: 5 credits
Listing: 2 credits
Total: 9 credits

With the Free plan, you start with 1,500 credits (1,000 monthly + 500 bonus).

I'm getting an error connecting to Etsy, what should I do?

Make sure your Etsy shop is active
Clear your browser cookies
Try a different browser

My design doesn't fit the product properly, how can I fix it?

In Placement Editor:

Use Zoom to resize the design
Use Rotate to rotate it
Use Center button to center it
Pay attention to print area boundaries (red frame)

I didn't like the Magic Wand content, can I try again?

Yes, you can run Magic Wand as many times as you want. Each run consumes 5 credits. Alternatively, you can manually edit the content (no credits consumed).
