How Push Process Works

  1. Listing selection (My Listings)

  2. Target store selection

  3. Validation check

  4. Send to Etsy API

  5. Publish on Etsy

Cause

Listing doesn't meet Etsy requirements.

Solution

Check required fields:

  • Title: 1-140 characters

  • Description: Min 1 character

  • Price: $0.20 or more

  • Quantity: 1 or more

  • Images: At least 1, max 10

  • Category: Must be selected

  • Shipping: Profile must be selected

Error: "Image Upload Failed"

Causes

  1. File too large (max 10MB per image)

  2. Unsupported format

  3. More than 10 images

  4. Corrupt file

Solutions

  1. Check image specs (JPG, PNG, GIF, max 10MB)

  2. Compress large images

  3. Convert unsupported formats

  4. Re-export corrupt images

Error: "Category Required"

Solution

  1. Edit the listing

  2. Find "Category" field

  3. Select appropriate category

  4. Select subcategories if needed

  5. Save and push

Error: "Shipping Profile Missing"

Solutions

Option 1: Use Etsy Shipping Profile

  1. Go to Etsy Shop Manager

  2. Settings > Shipping settings

  3. Create or select profile

  4. Return to Listybox and select profile

Option 2: Set from Listybox Select shipping profile in listing settings

Error: "Title Too Long"

Solution

  1. Edit listing

  2. Reduce title to under 140 characters

  3. Keep important keywords

  4. Remove unnecessary words

Error: "Price Too Low"

Solution

Price must be at least $0.20. Consider POD margins when setting price.

Error: "Duplicate Listing"

Options

  1. Update Existing: Updates the existing listing

  2. Create New Anyway: Creates separate listing

  3. Cancel: Cancel and check manually

Error: "Store Disconnected"

Solution

  1. Go to Settings > Stores

  2. Find the store

  3. Click "Reconnect"

  4. Re-authorize on Etsy

  5. Retry push

Error: "Rate Limit Exceeded"

Solutions

  1. Wait 15-30 minutes

  2. Reduce bulk push (max 20 at once)

  3. Spread pushes over time

Error: "Tag Limit Exceeded"

Solution

Reduce tags to 13 or fewer. Keep most important ones.

Error: "Invalid Characters in Tags"

Symptoms

Cause

Tags contain non-ASCII characters (Turkish characters, special symbols). Etsy API only accepts standard ASCII characters.

Step 1: Review Your Tags

  1. Edit the listing

  2. Go to Tags section

  3. Find tags with special characters

Step 2: Convert Characters

❌ WRONG:
"türkçe hediye", "özel tasarım", "çiçekli tişört"

  • ✅ CORRECT:

"turkish gift", "special design", "floral tshirt"Step 3: Save and Push Save the listing after fixing tags and push again.

Important Notes

  • Etsy target market: Most Etsy customers search in English

  • SEO impact: Non-English tags generally perform poorly in search

  • Recommendation: Create tags in English to match your target market

Error: "Listing Quota Exceeded"

Solutions

  1. Wait for next month (resets on 1st)

  2. Upgrade plan for more listings

  • All listings have descriptions

How long does push take?

10-30 seconds for single listing. Bulk push depends on count.

What happens on Etsy if push fails?

Nothing is published. Existing listings unaffected.

Can I push the same listing again?

Yes, it will be pushed as an update.

Can I cancel a push?

You can cancel queued items. In-progress ones will complete.

Why didn't some listings push?

Check error details in Push History for each listing.
